I understand what you must feel. I used to be homeless in the early 1990s and it was horrible. We just moved from Ohio to California. It was terrible because we had to learn the culture all over again (we used to live there in the 1980s and 1970s; I was born there. Whenever I have to move, I get nervous and scared because I don't want to lose nothing as I've lost things in the past.
Like you, I'm scared of being homeless after the experience I've went through with family issues, and other problems in that time. People talking to me like I'm dumb. It was a mess and I got sick through the whole process; I began having scizures and now I have to take medication.
I hope you are doing better.
