Ok ive got a small problem with water believe it or not. When i have a shower i end up with incredible itchy skin wich is painful. Has anyone got any ideas as to what it could be and how to stop it?
Ive tryed going from hot to cool showers, ive change the soap, ive change the shower head we are now at a loss at what we could do because none of that has helped.
such as life I remember something else soap dries out your skin cuz it has a lot of stuff in it called tallow if the soap has aloe vera to in it that sometimes too may make skin dry and bleed that's why when I rea d how glycerin is in small amounts in regular soap s ... so the article talked about how if u buy a soap that is unscented and all glycerin it should clear up the problem ..not everyone reacts the same to chemcals but some people react to almost everything ..
By the way, though many soaps advertise gentleness and natural and they have oatmeal, fruit etc. etc.
Soap in itself, is a compound mixture of some sort of fatty acid, a triglyceride and lye, sodium hydroxide. Soap CANNOT be made any other way. Or it is not soap. Often soap companies say, No Lye in our soap. That's true, because there is NO fatty acids or sodium hydroxide in any soap.
Once you mix any type of fatty acid, (animal fat or vegetable fat) with lye, (sodium hydroxide). A chemical reaction occurs called, saponification. It is no longer lye or a fatty acid, But SOAP!
I always liked science and chemistry.
Point is, every 7 years our bodies go through changes. You can have no allergies. And all of a sudden, you can have several. You may be having a reaction to soaps in general.
