Unlike other lymphomas, whose incidence increases with age, Hodgkin's lymphoma occurs more frequently in two separate age groups, the first being young adulthood (age 15-35), the second being in those over 50 years old.

odd feeling in my neck

Just finished my fourth cycle of Chemo today and just started neupagen about an hour ago..

was sitting up in my room and started to feel the left side of my neck become limited in a way, like its swollen, though it isn't

but when i checked im still capable of stretching it..

anyone have an idea what this is?

had something silmilar before being diagnosed

I've had the same feeling before.. my docs told me that sometimes your body builds up scar tissue from the chemo and thats what they thought it was with me.

I could be the Nuelasta shot. I had some slight upper back pain (like my back needed to pop) about a day after receiving the shot and I've had some bone pain where it felt like I had a heartbeat in my bones. Very strange feeling yet, mine didn't last but by maybe 10 seconds every so often. Ask your Oncologist but, I bet he/she will tell you it's the shot.

Im sure it did have something to do with that.

But it wasn't really a pain, though i know exactly what your describing. Thats the worse side-effect i've had since Chemo started. It sucks. It starts out at the very bottom of your back and slowly travels up until it reaches your head and then becomes a migrane. then its this powerful shooting pain. But a couple tylenols usually solve the problem :)
