Hi,
So this girl came out as a lesbian in my school today and it got me thinking. I don't know if I have OCD any more, I have had no treatment but it isn't half as bad as it used to be which is a good thing but I still get random thoughts and worries in the back of my head but they seem clearer. I worry that either my inner mind has accepted that I am gay (which I'm not, I hope) or OCD is just not distorting my thoughts any more (but I don't know if he still is). Basically, I used to have this friend. We were so close and I wanted to spent all my time with her because she made me laugh and I never clicked with anybody like that before. Then we kind of drifted apart and it felt like she had just forgotten about me. It made me really upset and kind of angry that she could just forget about me, her supposed best friend. Now, I take every opportunity to spend time with her to see if we can get close again. The only thing is, OCD keeps telling me that I am secretly in love with her or something and I do love her but not in that way. It's getting me down and I still get thoughts about me fancying girls even though I have a boyfriend. I just want to be happy again. Thanks.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
If you have not tried before yuo should also be getting CBT treatment for this problem. I believe its the most recommended way to go. It wouldnt matter anyway but im sure (and youknow deep down) you are not what your brain is telling you! thoughts are just thoughts, they dont make you something you are not! i know it is hard but try to just let them come in and go out. Thoughts, even if you enjoy some of them, have absolutely no significance on your sexual orientation!
Relax, you will get better, Have a great weekend

dezza, relax, DONT WORRY. YOUR OCD IS twisting your thoguhts to make you scared!Anyway i have loved friends, that is ok.
IT IS NOT THE SAME AS SEXUAL ATTRACTION (a very evident urge , desire to engage in sexual activity with her)
have nice weekend
