I have my HOCD for over a year now and it seems to be getting better. I don't think about it all the time which is good I suppose because it allows me to get on with my life but it scares me because I often wander, is this me accepting it? But I know I have NOT accepted it. When I sit down I start to dwell and panic and sometimes I get niggling worries or doubts that this is really reality, I don't know how to get rid of these niggling thoughts. How do you deal with it?

You have the same fears I do, I used to be so happy, and love life! Now I am completely num to everything around me! I just hate life right now, I used to want to get married and have kids, now i Just want to be alone for the rest of my life, crawl into a whole and never leave.

I know how you feel, I was actually in love for 3 1/2 years and then one day I saw this guy and I thought omg I must like him, and I felt like me thinking he was attractive meant that I was cheating on my boyfriend. Then after we broke up it was like omg I must be gay! and now I am on OCD medicien and anit-depressants and it has helped a lot but there are still those moments that suck really bad, and makes me wonder If i'm ever going to be truly happy again! I don't want to be a lesbian, and I know that I am not one, but OCD likes to make us think otherwise. I just don't see myself being with anyone I am emotionally numb to the world... it sucks
