I have read the strand on chronic hives and I was surprised that no one mentioned urticaria. I have suffered from recurring hives for about six years. I have seen my regular doctor, a dermatologist, and an allergist. They all said I have chronic urticaria, which, as I understand it, means chronic hives. They come mysteriously, and stay for about three or four months, and then they fade away for a year or two. The only thing I have used for them is triamcinolone 0.1% cream. It stops the itching, but the hives are still there. does anyone else out there have urticaria and have you found some effective treatments?
