I started out with a slight scratchy throat, then a week later it was unbearable, I thought I had strp throat, I have never had a sore throat like that in all my life, I went to the doctor, that did a rapid strep test and a throat culture for 4 days and both were negative, but they gave me antibiotics, took them for 10 days and still have the nagging sore throat, woke up one morning and had a red rash around both side of my neck that went away when I took off my shirt I thought maybe a new dryer sheet caused the rash on the fabric that i slept in overnight, but no where near what it was, also when the throat started hurting really bad I started having severe ovarie pain sometimes just on one ovary and then on both for almost two weeks, I went to the Gynecologist didn't tell them I was worried about an STD and ask them to do an ultrasound, they didn't see anything abnormal, now its been a month and the ovary pain is started again like last month, have the scratchy throat still and have lost 8 lbs in one month,
has any female had any similar symptoms

Why not go see your primary care doctor and explain to them the symptoms.

A sore throat could be anything from a virus (I.E. Flu) to a bacteria that's currently making a playground out of your body.

If you're concerned about an STD, get tested. Don't try to self diagnose. The only real way to know is to get checked out by those that are here to help (Doctors).

Also, don't lie to your doctors. It's like taking your car in for an oil change and hoping the mechanic notices that the brakes squeak sometimes. Rarely is that a good approach.

I didn't have those exact symptoms, but what happened to me, was one day i felt really bad so i called the dr to set up an appt, and was supposed to go the next day. When i woke up that next day i had red spots all over my face and neck, i felt really really weak. I went to the er and my fever was 103 every test they did came back negative, they had no clue what was wrong. They admitted me to the hospital for a week, that whole time they gave me antibiotics for any STD's even though my tests were negative. I left still not knowing what was wrong, the spots eventually went away after a week or so. After a week, i was still really weak and was really sick, so i went to the ER again and the dr there said i had mononucleosis, and my spleen was enlarged. I started to eventually feel better, and a few months later i got some more tests ran and come to find out i was HIV positive. My dr said that the ER dr was wrong at the time saying i had mono cuz i never tested positive for that, but what could have been wrong with me was that it was the onset of HIV. So i would reccomend that even if your tests come back neg. Def go back in a few months. But def go to your dr and tell him/her your fears. I hope this helped! Good Luck.
