I was just very recently diagnosed with HIV and not sure how to deal with it other then with prayer and positive people around i have found it alot easier to deal with i was never a drug user and never messed with just anyone and then i had the joy of finding out my husband gave it to me he knowingly had it and never told me now i sit here wondering how could a human being who knew he was infected could deliberately give it to someone he supposedly loved and infect them with something of this nature . even tho i was warned by two women he was supposedly with i never listened till about 3 weeks ago when i woke up literally dying and was rushed to the hospital not knowing what was wrong with me and when i needed him the most he was not there when i was diagnosed and when he did find out it was like he had no remorse for what he had done but now God and the Judicial system are seeing to it he is answering for the things he has done to me and i kno of 2 others he has infected so far me i shall go on with my Life as best i can for i do have people who do truly love and care for me but i hope for his sake he can find peace within himself for all the wrong he has done ..Im getting better slowly and rebuilding my blood levels and all but my life is forever changed by this but now i can do something about it cause i am by no means ready to up and just give up and maybe i can be one small voice within this community to help and educate others on this horrifying Disease..

Although your husband must have been very confused not to tell you.No-one deserves HIV not even your husband. Or people that risks, that dont seem very sensible.... A bit like not listening to warnings in your situation. We dont always listen until its too late.
Those happen too, for all sorts of reasons.
You may not want to think about these now but it might help you when you're over the initial shock.
Im not a religous person but do believe 'in forgiveness lies peace'.Im sure he already has his punishment, but totally understand your rights too.
My adoptive daughters birth mother infected her from birth, I spent a long time hating her for it, but she wasn't thinking straight. She was ill herself and just wanted to live a normal life, she really didnt think it would happen, deniel may have played a part amongst other factors.
Just like when people especially young people have sex and get pregnant, they are surprised because they dont really think it WILL happen. Ive forgiven her now and im not filled with hate anymore because it eats away at you and its really hard work.
When I tell my daughter why she has AIDS I wont judge her mother or blame her in anyway. She was just ignorant and confused.
