I am currently on the Medi-Cal program here in California until I finish school in May. They have been covering the cost of my medications for about a year now, which has been fantastic. However, my pharmacy told me today that the pharmacies will not be filling HIV perscriptions anymore (for those of us on Medi-Cal) due to state budget cuts and that they were losing an average of $200 per patient since the cuts.
I am completely clueless on where to go from here for help to get my perscriptions filled. The pharmacist did not have any suggestions for me, so I was hoping one of you can help!
I was told that I do not qualify for the ADAP program because I am eligible (and have) the Medi-Cal. I can't drop the Medi-Cal because I need coverage for my doctors appointments.

I'm sending you a name & phone # of someone that can assist you from A to Z in needs & meds ( in his words ) I spoke w/ him & I provided him w/ the info that You provided above. He said call asap & you will be all set. There's other assistance programs funded by our Gov that this Gentleman will provide for you as well ( if u need him to ) Let me know how it goes, He was kinda shocked that I called him from RI about you. He is centered in all avenues of our situation
