I just wanted to say I am new here to everything. You can read my quick bio on here, and I just started taking Atripla and this is my third day. I have a lot of axiety, stress, scared, you name it. Right now my head is spinning and it's 2 hours after taking it since I take it at midnight. By morning I seem to just be a little fuzzy but gets better as the day goes on. I don't want to hear any horror stories of it cause I already read some online, I have decided to just roll with it for now and see where it goes. Just looking to make friends and share advice, etc. Thanks
Anyway, welcome to the group here. Please keep checking in from time to time to let us know how you are doing. It is very helpful for others to hear first-hand stories, both good and bad, to get an idea for what they might expect. Of course everyone is different and some people do well on one combination of drugs while others can't stand that combination and do well on another. But hearing that most people either "get used to" side effects such as strange dreams, or that those side effects go away after the first few weeks is very helpful.
Although horror stories are not helpful, it can be very good to know about signs that you need to stop a therapy and try a new one. For example some people are allergic to nevirapine and allergies are nothing to mess with. A "little rash" one day can turn deadly pretty quickly. But allergies usually show up in the very first days of taking a a drug, not something that comes on months after your start.
