Highly Sensitive People HSP Community Group
The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time, space, and freedom. If this sounds...
As an HSP, I am like you: I am unable to have sex if I am not in love. Even if my body wants it so much, my mind says no. It works this way because we are HSP. If you are not HSP, as soon as your body will start puberty, you will be chasing the opposite sex. The reason is simple : As HSP, our feelings are much stronger at such a young age than non HSP. It means while they are regulated by instinct of reproduction, we are regulated by feelings already. It doesn't mean one don't have the other, it means one is stronger than the other. The reality is more complex, I am simplifying.
People going from bed to bed, are not doing this only for sex, they are doing it because they are able to share a moment of love with someone without having to be close from this person. An HSP is unable to do that, as we already have difficulties to make simple relationships with stranger.
So yes, they are going from bed to bed for love, pleasure, happiness for a short time because they do not have at the moment the love of their life and they fill the holes/what they are missing, but we are all doing that in a way or in another.
