In Chinese medicine the emotions and the physical all seem to be linked and moving the qi is supposed to help with this, at least it seems to help me. For example, if I feel burning in my solar plexus area, the practitioner with insert a needle that is linked to that area and it will move the qi, the vital life force, which is also expressed as an emotion that seemed to be "stuck."
If I have to deal with something distressing, this happens -
I get a massive headache afterwards
I am queasy the next day, and have diarrhea
I lose a clump of hair about 3 weeks later
Breakdowns, Barriers, and Obstacles.
Stress provides us with a perfect example of how the mind and body interact. Subject a person to a measurable amount of stress, and that stress can show up in the form of a headache, a rash, insomnia, or hypertension. If the stress is chronic, the physical ramifications eventually may lead to much worse things, such as heart attack, adrenal fatigue, or other chronic diseases.
Without going into a long description of the biology of how the central nervous system and the actions of the automatic nervous system works...the simple answer to both is these physical problems are quite fixable. All you have to do is find a way to add a little positive emotion to your day.
Happiness can strengthen the immune response. A good attitude, valued relationships, and a meaningful life are the central ingredients for happiness. Positive emotions affect our physical health, but the benefits don't stop there. Positive emotions greatly impact our mental and emotional well-being as well.
* Switch thoughts. As soon as pessimistic thoughts come into your head, quickly replace them with positive ones.
* Switch gears. When problems arise, rather than bemoaning them, consider the possibilities and then set out to solve the problems.
* Switch friends. Avoid people who drain your energy by judging you, belittling you, or just overloading you with their problems.
* Walk the walk. In other words, act like all is well in your life, and it will fast become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Optimism can be learned!
Hugs.
If you are sure that physical manifestations come from emotions, then you know how to treat it, it is a good thing(it does not mean you will succedd but...)
