The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time, space, and freedom. If this sounds...
He does 'telecommute' to his work, so he is able to handle being alone during the day. He has had friends, but not a large group of them at one time, just a few close ones. He is still like that. He is quiet. He is a great son, husband. He used to spend a lot of 'alone' time in his room just reading. He is a very serious.
I gave him a gift one time - it was a framed print that said - "Character is doing what's right when nobody is Looking." He has it in his home office. That says a lot about him and he knows it.
I read so many comments here from people who have really been mentally abused by their families for being the way that they are. I think if we can just be loving and understanding and caring as parents while we're pushing them to be stronger and able to deal with the realities of the world we'll be doing the right thing.
