Highly Sensitive People HSP Community Group
The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time,space, and freedom. If this sounds...
I actually lost my best friend because I told her what she was feeling, and she couldn't handle it. It came out of no where on my end, I just started, and I couldn't stop. I had no clue that what I said hit hard to the core. But, apparently it did, and her final words were I didn't think you knew me that well, when after 27 yrs, she seemed to know nothing about me. Then there were other things she said I won't share.
I think what you are feeling is HSP. Trying to find a way to turn it off, isn't there, it's just trying to edit your thoughts.
Have you had an IQ test? Mine is very high, and they say that lends to HSP. Just take a test.
I can feel the "future", not guess the future, but I think I feel what every alive thing on this planet is feeling deep inside!
Then I kind of know what will happen;
You know the phone is going to ring, you think about something and it happens second later...
What are the odds ? Sometimes, it is just impossible;How it is possible to feel such things ? I do not know, but there are so much to explain...
julchr: thank you for your reply! yes, i've taken an iq test before out of curiosity and it was higher than average... actually, quite higher than i expected as i was never a great test taker! i can relate with what you were saying about losing a friend. i've lost a friend because of my intuition or more because she always wanted to find out "what is going to happen" and i just didn't feel like she was appreciating me as a friend, but more like coming to a fortune teller, which i am not.
nor007: i know EXACTLY what you mean!!! especially the "feel" the future and not seeing part or knowing-feeling something is going to happen right before it does. when i share with people what i "feel" about something in the near future, they think i'm able to "see" something, like a fortune teller or something, but it's so hard for me to describe this "feeling" that i get. it's like i'm seeing something, but through feeling. ah, so difficult to explain to others!
