I am new here, I discovered hsp 5 months ago, I am 23, and for a short time this discovery made me so happy !
I did understood all my life as far as I remembered (since I am 3), and it was a huge relief.
I finally did understand what other people didn't understand about me, I did understand that some things I was thinking is specific to HSP and that other people don't think like me.
I started to write a secret diary but only for my feelings, and it worked... at the beginning.
But in the meantime I lost my last social relationship I had, and it very painful.
I explain :
I left for England one year ago, so I have good friends in France, but here in England everything was new.
I met two friends since i arrived here but one of them left for Switzerland and before leaving he kinds of panicked or i don't know and since then we are not really friend.
The problem is we were working together and he told me basically I did make big mistakes in my work although it was not true... I thought he was stressed by his departure and I did not speak with him after that.
My second friend was a girl, i really liked her, she was very interesting, but she was a bit weird with me, she was saying we are friends, but we were only seing each other once in three weeks, we are in a very small town where there are nothing to do, so I didn't really understand,
Then I had to take a break because I was so overwhelmed with my feelings I couldn't bear it anymore, and then I didn't get any news from her....
When I asked her if there is a problem, she told me no, she was just a bit depressed but she has no problem with me...
At the end she sent me something over skype, I wanted to talk with her and no answer...
I asked her if she was okay, she told me i won't send you anything if you take it like that...
I was worried about her and she hurt me, again !
I said stop.
Problem is, today, I don't speak with my best friend from home, and I don't have anymore friends in England.
She hurt me and I have difficulties to go over it.
I am not depressed but sad, and it's difficult to tell myself I can't even stand a social relationship.
HSP is a living hell for me, and I know it will be all my life, but if anyone of you do have advices, I will take them !

Problem is I don't know what I want, what I need, for now I am stuck.
I will move on soon, but I prefer doing one thing at the time, otherwise I am overwhelmed.
I started playing Ogame 10 years ago, and the game is kind of dead for 5 years now, but since then I can't stop because of the people I met on this game. We are still 3 or 4 playing, but it's hard to tell myself let's throw away 10 years of my life, of fun people I would almost say good friends.... although it is completely virtual !
England is a bit difficult for me, i don't really like it.
So I am a bit in my world.
Like you said I don't like large cities, i like to go once every two or three months for the day in London (The train for Paris is too expensive), I love walking so I try to do some small cities around me, but not very often.
I have seen my family and friend after 6 months and it was a huge relief, I agree.
Don't be wrong: I am comfortable in my life and my mind, but sad things will always be sad things for me, the only fact to think about it is sad and make me cry even 8 years later so...
PS: Is your father famous or kind of ?
I hate public transportation, the smell, the touching, the noise, even for the eyes...
moreover they are always late and i start being anxious ( I now have a better control, I took public transport for so many years...).
But I love to move also, which means for me a car.
And that's one more reson why I am unhappy in England it is because before 25yo cars are very expensive (for the insurance, parking and oil)
I need calm, but I need to have the possibility to do social things during the week, and to move the week end to new places.
So, a city not too big but not too small.
California, beach town, it is my living dream (which I will never realize because I would be too far away from my family) !!!
