Highly Sensitive People HSP Community Group
The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time, space, and freedom. If this sounds...
I have felt on the outside looking in, now I prefer it that way, my surprise. I can join in on society anytime but with nothing invested I stay clear of any problems. I used to think my life was passing by and now I think-Yes it is! But I am going to do it on my terms and based on how I feel or think, with no harm done to another. The angst of all of it has lessened.
I still take things to heart, that is important to keep compassion alive. I like the inside of my head. Crying great sobs is therapeutic I think, for me anyway.
I do better with online friends too. no body language to misinterpret, no facial expressions to misread and that tone of voice thing too. YET those also make hard for me to be online.
Wishing you well-keep taking things to heart, it will keep your "self" alive.
I think you can too.
1) Don't care about what other people think about you, you are free and their judgement are not relevant.
In order to succeed to do this, don't judge them on anything, don't go with people who judge ( it is a bad advice at the end because most of the people judge and you will be ofthen alone... but it is easier to go on for me at least)
2) If it's too hard to get over it, don't think about it, to no think about it, think about something else which is more important (can be often sad but...)
These advices are not ultimate solution, and won't solve everything but I think it helps.
