Highly Sensitive People HSP Community Group
The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time, space, and freedom. If this sounds...
but yes, hypercritical parents, which does not go along with HSP at all, and I understand @itsallgood :
maybe I am hard with myself (sometimes too much) and I expect from other people to be at least as hard...
The change of mood can be really weird, we are not bipolar even if I often think it is somehow close.
Specially at the end of the day, when i am tired.
I work with the public. Some customers i love, and some just make me lose hope in humanity.
Customers i hate:
The woman who stands at the counter and makes me wait 10 minutes while she looks for a picture of what she wants on her phone. She usually has fake, long, thick, purple finger nails that make the whole process 10 times slower.
The customer having a senior moment. They start a sentence, then i have to wait 10 minutes while they scan their pea size brain to find the word they are looking for. I paste a smile on my face and go to a happy place in my mind while i wait.
The customer who tells me about all the stuff i dont carry, which they proudly buy at another store. Yes. Thank you. I still dont have it.
The customer who tells me his whole life story including all his disgusting diseases and ends up buying nothing!
The customer who complains about the strong smell in the store ( we sell teas, spices etc). Instead of leaving like a normal allergic person would do, they stay and complain for 15 minutes, waving their hand in front of their nose like idiots.
My tolerance towards annoying people usually runs out in the afternoon. Around 3:00.
Thank goodness for the good friendly customers! These make me like people again for the next day.
