I arrived here a short time ago, but I already discovered so much about HSP people and I can say we are so lucky to have the internet !
It is very useful to speak with other HSP People, I did learn a lot !
You did go through hard times and it is good to see you did go through and you are here now;
If you launch topics, we will be happy to speak about it !
You will see here, we are all the same but we still have different personalities.
For me, I prefer Denmark to Elaine, because I recognize myself in what he says.
I do not know if it is because he is a man or maybe he has more in common with me...
Both websites are excellent so...
Discovering I am a HSP was very recent to me also, and I can say it was a real relief, It helped me so much, I still have a lot of things to solve but it is easier today.
Easier does not mean easy, and I still think it is a curse but, anyway, if you go through the past topics you can read about a lot of stuff we are asking ourself and it is again very interesting !
I didn't know, but just as you mentioned, I'm just figuring out that there are different types of HSP's! I have been finding out that the type of HSP I am has allowed for much more understanding of why I am the way I am. I feel like I've found gold!
You feel that being an HSP is a curse even after finding out that you are? What aspects do you feel is making you feel this way? For myself, things were rough before finding out, but since then and accepting, I feel that it's definitely a gift and just trying to figure out how to work with it so that I can be more in sync with my inner being.
Interesting to hear about Denmark and feeling like you relate more to him because you are a male. I'll have to check out his blog to find out for myself as well!
I know a lot of people on this forum seems to prefer Elaine.
HSP is a curse because I cannot be who I want to be, I have restrictions in my everyday life, these restrictions are hard !
It is indeed so good to know who we really are, how we are working, there is a better understanding, we still are limited/restricted.
the hyper emotive and introvert things are the results of Hyper sentivity, and it is too strong to be happy right now....
if you weren't an hsp, what would you want to do? just curious. :)
My health has been a mess for six months, it is starting to get better, but I am always tired now ! It is hard to recover, I have my nerves on the edge for 2 weeks now, which is playing with my mood and feelings, and getting me tired !
I think the worst part is the sadness, i can be easily happy but also easily sad, and I do not succeed to accept death !
I still cry when I think about my aunt who is dead for 8 years now, or my cat six months ago...
Noises are hard to handle....
I wouldn't have to get such a calm life, without HSP, I could like other people get out every week, nightclub, drinking without the feelings getting messed up and messing with my mind...
I can't even drink anymore, I became so sensitive to alcohol that even one beer make me sick !
According to the doctor, I am healthy so...
:)
