LIfe after high school??? OH NO!

I just finished high school this year and I am supposed to be moving into the real world. The problem is, I have no idea what I'm going to do now that I'm done. I don't know if I want to go to college or university or if I should travel. I also have a problem in now, I have a girl that likes me, but she has a plan in place and knows what she is going to do after she is done. I don't know if I should start a relationship with her because I don't know how much I will be able to see her after she moves. I'm just really stressed out right now and I don't know what to do!

Well it depends on how far away this girl is moving from you. If she is moving a really far ways away.. then maybe you shouldnt? i dont really know!

Well, personally, I'd suggest that you continue your schooling and go to a college or university, because to get a well-respected job, most places are now requiring more than just a high school education. You can travel between semesters or over spring break, or even study abroad for a semester, which many schools are now encouraging that you do.

As for the girl, it depends on how close you will be staying after high school, but most likely, you won't be able to work it out, sadly. Keeping a girlfriend/boyfriend through college is difficult enough, and add in a long distance relationship and it will be near impossible.

Good luck though and I'm sorry if I sounded like a pessimist!!

maybe your loving girlfriend could go to a university in bc... and you could both move into an apartment together, and be together that way? depending on what your doing of course.. but maybe its time to leave the nest? maybe you should move to an apartment, and she could move in with you. and you guys could share living costs and stuff? cause shes just soooo beautiful! :) what do ya think?
