My tip is, write the paper the way you normally would, then re-read it and add details to certain parts that could use them. Say your paper is supposed to be 2 pages long, and you are able to write 1 1/4 the way you normally would. It doesn't take much to add detail to what you already have in order to equal the 2 pages just by adding a few more words to a sentence or repeating and ideal and just wording it differently.
See how I just did that? I stated the point in the very first sentence, then repeated the point, just in a different set of words, and made it sound like a new idea.

Actually this is why essays are amazing. Obviously, not everyone is gonna read the folk tales the same way and learn the same lesson. As long as you back up HOW and WHY you learned the lessons you did in the folktales, then you should have a valid argument. :) Essays are arguments ...so prove why you learned the lesson you did through the quotes and analysis/reasonings behind it. Go deep into your mind and dig out why you came to the conclusion you did.. :)

When I'm writing essays, there are a couple things that really help me out. First, there's a latin phrase which I find really helpful when writing and it is basically "know the thing, the words will follow". This is really true and if you take a couple extra minutes to really understand the topic, it will make writing it a whole lot easier.

Secondly, if you understand the topic and you just have trouble actually writing it, try turning off your monitor and typing without looking. Obviously, you'll have to check in every once in a while and proof-read, but it helps your ideas flow.

Honestly I just have trouble with motivation. I’ll write something, and then think it needs more fancy or formal stuff! Either I’m doing that or just procrastinating or second guessing myself.
