I just got my labs and i am not happy .I am not on any cholesterol lowering drugs .

Your cholesterol is perfectly normal. Your Triglycerides are slightly high, but you can fix that easily by cutting back on sugars, starches, and alcoholic beverages if you consume them. Take a quality fish oil supplement, and increase your physical activity. You will be stunned.... and so will your doctor.

Remember, when we walk into a doctors office in today's world, we are effectively walking onto a high pressure sales floor.

Yes, its a sales floor. You are the potential customer for life.

I think of them as used car salesman, they try to sell a person anything.

Even my own Doc I take everything with a grain of salt. And research everything I can. He does listen to me. We compromise a lot.

Haha! Physicians probably don't like it when a patients look at them in the same light as a used car salesman, but hey, reality is a doctor's office has become a high pressure sales floor, so what can they expect?

Time for them to trade the white coat for a plaid jacket, grease back the hair, and wear sunglasses. You have to dress appropriately for the occasion.
