Hi, I went on WEBMD and put in policosinol. I read the user reviews
and it got 4 out of 5 stars. Most people had good luck with it, I think
I used it a few years ago and nothing changed.

But everyone is different and if it does not harm you it might be worth
a try.

Thanks hon...I found out one thing that mattered too was the source. The kind derived from sugar cane seems to work better than other sources such as rice and beets. I am going to make sure I try that kind.

Let us know how you make out. I find that it takes natural stuff longer
to work than prescription meds. Maybe I didn't stay on it long enough
for it to work. And yes the sugar can was the best kind.

I haven't got it yet. I am trying to find it locally from that source and not rice. I might have to order off the net.

In any case, my blood work in in January, so if I get on it fairly soon, it should be in my system awhile.

I found some at GNC. Still don't know the source but taking it anyway. I'll find out when I visit the dr. in January if it does any good.

They wrote it was sugar cane but one can never be sure with supplements...

I didn't have much luck with this either. Maybe I should take it longer, but we are trying Zetia for now and I want to see how that med works by itself before I start adding things.
