My numbers have been worse than this last one, and was happy with Crestor bringing it down. But I had such a severe reaction I had to stop this Mid-August and my hands are still healing.
I'd love to hear suggestions, since I've run out of ideas for sure since I'm following Dr. Fuhrman's diet which is the ultimate low cholesterol diet. I love it except for the eggs for cooking and baking.
Am happy thugh that I lost the 17 pounds I mysteriously gained while on Crestor.
many thanks!

I'm going to deinitely keep following advice here. I'll also stay on the Fit For Life Vegan diet for 4 months til the next blood workup.
Maybe in our cases, having "bad" numbers doesn't mean that they will lead to health problems. The doctor gave me Welchol as an alternative to Crestor. I'll think on it and ask around about it before deciding one way or the other to take it to lower the numbers.
I'm putting the resuls down below so I can come back and compare in 4 months . And am really hopeful :)

Well, I'd say that you should cut the complex carbs some too. You need to tailor your diet to your individual body responses. So if the numbers are saying that you have too much carbs, then you could try to reduce your (mostly complex) carbs by say 20 - 30% and see how the next set of numbers works out. You can make up some of the calories by eating healthy fats and proteins instead. Nuts are a good choice as long as you can keep the amounts reasonable. It's easier with unsalted nuts :)
