Improvement with vitamin D3?

My recently lipid panel was all normal readings.  I have been taking vitamin D3 this past year because my vitamin D level was so low plus I take it to boost my immune system.   I believe the vitamin D3 may have helped my lipid panel.  Anyone here takes vitaminD or D3 and also has their readings been improved?

I have not read that there is a correlation between taking vitamin D and improved cholesterol lipid panels, but there may be a study somewhere that says otherwise. Hopefully, you are one that it helps. How where your lipid tests before taking vitamin D? My guess is that there have been other things that you have changed in the past year that may be the reason. Hard to know.

None of my lipid panel measurements are within normal ranges, or at best just barely passing some and I take 5,000 I.U, of vitamin D daily. I have lipid panel tests records on file going back to 2001 and they have never been good and adding vitamin D in later years has not changed anything. Actually, I have never found anything that does improve my lipid panel. Any kind of drug either Rx or OTC that is cholesterol lowering related will cause me unrelenting leg pain within hours of starting.
