healthcare.
maker for him? I respect him, but do not like the fact that he sells
products for different things.
Since I bought this one product from Dr. Sinatra, I have been flooded with email sales piches, and frequent paper mailings. Many people are critial of Dr. Mercola for him selling supplements on his site, and even though I have bought many, I have never received a paper mailing, and receive just his dailey newletter, which I find to be very informative.
Very interesting how these two famous doctors market themselves and their products. Even though I liked Dr. Sinatra's last book, I am very learly of his heavy-handed marketing.
I guess I'm still looking for the magic pill. I have FH and nothing has helped.
I don't like it when good Dr's sell products. I think it discredits their
reputations.

I will take vitamin D3 in the winter. Then stop come summer. Other than that I only take my thyroid medicine cause I have no choice.
I used to take some supplements. But one day I looked at them and said to myself, "Ya know, the reason I shop at Whole Foods and buy natural organic foods is because I am trying to avoid all this processed and fortified junk. So why I am adding it in a pill?"
Its a good question. Lets face it. If you were low in potassium, would you rather eat an avocado or take a pill with processed powdered potassium?
Both will raise potassium levels. The avocado is the more expensive way to go, but I believe the avocado is the natural way humans were intended to get their nutrients.
Here is another consideration. Once your body achieves the correct levels of nutrients, the kidneys sweep off the excess to keep toxicity from happening. So if you take a supplement your body does not need, you get expensive urine.
I think by natures design, mankind was intended to get nutritional needs via diet. Not pills.
Then there is the sales and marketing side to it all to think about.
from the same people. Veggies from local farmers market. Grass
fed beef from one of the grocery stores
But I do need some supplements. I have to take a lot of extra mag
and potassium, plus taurine. if I don't I go into afib.
I wish we lived in a place that had a natural food store near by. But I feel lucky to have what I do and can get.
If I did not have to take supplements I would not. How do I know how
pure they are?
I do take magnesium in the form of epsom salts in a hot bath every now and then. I use it to calm muscle aches and pains. I can see how it would help afib.
Thanks for sharing that. You have a situation where those supplements help you. Keep doing what you have to do.
