Congrats, after ten years my doctor and I are still experimenting with combinations that both get me down below 140/90 consistently and which I can tolerate.

I would recommend 24-hour ambulatory testing for those who (like me) appear to suffer from white-coat syndrome as well, On my recent 24 hour test, my numbers plummeted an hour after leaving the doctor's with the ABPM fitted, you could see it on the graph it produced. My numbers were still too high, but nowhere near as high as a one-off test at the doctor's would imply.
