If your bp went up a bit after quiting the Divya Mukta Vati, could it be from stress, since that is one of the things it helps? (There are others of course.) Try doing some slow, deep breathing twice a day for 2 or 3 minutes (or more if you are so inclined) each time.
From what you said, it sounds like you have your own blood pressure monitor. If that's the case, are you able to maybe take it into the doctor to show him/her the results? Maybe that would help with the "white coat syndrome."
Sorry that I don't know more about the medicinal side of it so I don't have ideas about that part of it; I have always lowered my blood pressure by doing "natural" things.

beta blocker that I can take and it is short acting but does bring down
my BP. My Doc says because I am older my BP is going to jump
around, and as long as the systolic is lower than 200 I don't need to go
to the ER. So I have managed to live with it.
I take benazepril and Dilitazam for the BP
stop seeing your Doc and would clear all supplements with him to make sure they are not working against the meds you are taking.

I'm not a Divya Mukta Vati spokesman or salesman, nor do I have anything to do with the company. I just can't find alot about it on the net aside for the sites that sell it. The nasal congestion is anoying to say the least, but I have learned to deal with it in exchange for the healthier blood pressure readings.
Aside from Beet Juice, is anyone else taking anything other than prescribed meds? If so what? And any side effects?
In Europe they confiscated herbal pills from China that contained human tissue.
Many herbs encourage cell mutiplication or have hormones that can encourage cancer or recurrance.
