I have tried losing weight but at my age (70) I would have to starve in order to see a drastic change. I do 15 miles a day on my exercise bike. I have not used salt for a few years now and have to read all labels so that my salt intake is not high. Almost everything has sodium. Lots of fruits and fresh veggies are a good bet because they do not have sodium if they are fresh.
