I also experience severe panic attacks from time to time. i think they tend to go hand in hand with HBP. Panic raises my BP, which stresses me out, which leads to higher BP, etc, etc. My primary doc actually referred me to a therapist to do talk therapy to help lower my bp.

I started getting panic attacks about 10 yrs ago. Not related to HBP.

So sorry Gemini that you are having these panci attacks.
I am old now but they started up fearlessly like no one business!
I hate them as much as the next person.
Mind first show it's ugly head I was PG with my 5th child and I didn't understand what was happening.
I remember trying to tell my doctor he sent in the nurse who took me to the side and said, "Don't tell anyone that you are having these!" I try to ask why. Just they will think you are crazy I think I remember?

So for years I didn't if I had one of my panic attacks. At first they were far and few between, I even forgot about them for years.

NOW today I have them everynight. Oh yeah mind are wake me up type...

I wish for anything they would stop. I adventurely try to go to counseling. some didn't mention any type of help one did.
She help me thru a ped. where I had my wrist broken and the panic started up over the cast. Can you believe that?
Well I learn some magic words I call them to get over.
It's simple..............just I say to myself this will be over in slow easy low volume. It did help and does.
But until I have these things all the time.

I was prenounce with a illness that can't be cured. Maybe it's stress of knowledge this dease will kill me someday.
And it effects my breathing. So enchs it causes me the panics.

OH well......I have to get out and run out side when I am woken up.
I hope that they will never pen me down in the hospital when I get even older....my biggest fear.

So that is all I know// I know it was about me.....but I have to find someone for threapy again. It isn't easy to do.

Yes I have high blood pressure been all seveal pills for it.
