Hey Shannon, Don't know if this will help at all but, here goes. I have see people suggest Bactine before...Bactine Original First Aid Liquid has provided soothing infection protection for over 50 years. It relieves the pain and itch of minor cuts, scrapes and burns on contact as it kills germs. Plus, unlike hydrogen peroxide, it does not sting.

I put hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and spray away. It may indeed sting depending on how deep and big the sucker is. I use peroxide quite often. Another idea might be witch hazel put in a spray bottle.

Oh its big, and deep..deep enough that I know if I spray peroxide or especially witch hazel on it, I'll be doing what I like to call the "OMG IT BURNS SO BAD" dance..looks funny as all get out with me doing it, but at the moment..not so funny to me..lol
I think I'll try the Bactine stuff, no sting sounds good to me, although as deep as it is, it'll prolly still burn, just hopefully not as bad as the other stuff. Thanks! :D

I just put some antibiotic ointment and cover it since everything burns mine!

take a bath in epsom salt. It tends to help dry the open ones up. After the bath, dry with hairdryer to make sure area is completely dry. use a small dab of antibiotic cream and cover with a bandaid.

I do the Bactine and stuff the hole with Neosporin with pain relief in it. Seems to help it heal faster. Hope you feel better soon.
