Hello everyone,

I've been living with HS for a long time but not knowing it until it became aggressive. I got dignosed about 1 year ago and I'm SO glade that I can put a name to it and not live in shame. Has anyone ever consider taking Zinc to help with the symptoms. I'm not a huge fan of medication. Just trying to find more a organic way to relieve pain and break outs. I know diet, excerxise and NOT smoking wil help as well but addictions suck!

I have to be honest. I don't like it. It's hard and painful at times but I just take it day by day. I go through tons of emotions all the time. It has been at lot worse in the past year than I have ever experienced. But I just try to stay positive. I have to take my health more seriously. Which I am doing:) How are you dealing with it?

Yes same here. After my father passed in June of this year it's gotten pretty bad which i know stress can be a huge tribute to breakouts. I've just been washing under my arms twice or three times daily. Wearing huge shirts so they won't touch my armpits & my doctor has put me on metformin only to lose weight. I see a lot of people saying that they use hiblicens & it some what helps. Have you ever tried any medications, soaps, etc?

I haven't tried Zinc yet. But I've been taking Turmeric tablets & a yeast Gard. Also been using EmuaidMax first aid ointment. Nothing is the total cute but I'll take anything that helps. Been suffering too long.

I just thought of turmeric pills. I also have been putting Renew lotion on after I shower at night. It seems soothes it. Thanks for the ideas. I have to admit. I feels good to know that there are others out there like me:)

Do the emuaid help in any way? I seen it online but looks like one of those scam websites. Also what's renew lotion? Ive never heard of that before. Also it's definitely a great feeling to know you are not alone.

I've been taking Tumeric Pills, Zinc, and i put Tea Tree oil on the places i break out and it has helped me SOOOOOOOO much. I'm looking to find a natural way over using medicine and so far its helping!!

I just bought some turmeric pills. What dosage do you take for the zinc? As for the Renew lotion, it's a cream specifically made for sensitive, affected skin with eczema and over ally dry. I have to admit that in the last week, my under arms are at the worst it has ever been. I hate it!!!! I was given pills but they make me very nauseous. I prefer to do it naturally. This is such a struggle.

Is the tea tree oil painful? I have 3 open sores under my arm which is extremely painful and depressing. I can't raise my arm or put my hair up. The worst is when I try to lift my 15 month old. Have you heard of using desitin?
