Abstaining from alcohol, doing the tumeric and the gluten-free diet are a great start to healing the outbreaks. I hope you find more answers here and can live a happier, cyst-free life :)
all of that stuff so she eats veggies, fruits, chicken.....She has issues with beef, pork , and processed meats..... also, dont go to a family party and think the gluten in the air wont affect you...We went to a party on saturday and she got 2 bobos from my sisters husband baking bread the day before ....Also alot of gluten was served that day...Really irritated the crap out of me! Does the family care? Hell no, so will be limiting parties as it just isnt worth it....... Make sure you watch what spices you use..they put gluten in everything now days...... My daughter doesnot do soy, corn, wheat, gluten, rice, potatoes, she hates sweet potatoes so I give her pumpkin...... she is a very fussy eater so paleo is hard for me to do with her cause she wont vary her diet....Good luck and know that you arent in this crap alone...I find that antibiotics are a HUGE waste of time for this disease...She is on levaquin and got a clyndamycin shot the day we went to the party for a infected ear and sinus's and she still broke out.....so antibiotics are virtually friggin worthless! Now since she has been glutened...( thanks to the family) I put warm compresses on the bobo and also put at night bactroban, aloevera gel, zinc oxide 40% and also manuka honey....it does help...this is a hideous disease but a normal standard diet makes it impossible to keep under control..... You can eat very well on paleo and have a huge variety of foods.....good luck and welcome, tangerinebearxo

It's all starting to make sense my doctors are amazed at how low my cholestorol is and now the diet I'm going to be trying - the paleo/Gluten free is all about fats. Maybe there is something about HS that makes our body's better at handling fats?
