I went to Tufts for an informational clinic on Humira. It scared me to see the side effects and not know if it will truly help. What have you done?

Yes! I just went to Beth Israel for the first time yesterday. Mainly worked with the resident but then the specialist came in. It is different actually having a doctor who doesn't just want to make me take accutane.

Here's a list of HS doctors I've found. Dr. Kimball is who I saw - she is now at Beth Israel (I think she is listed at Mass Gen). Also, the doctor who is listed for NH is no longer practicing.

I'm from Boston too. I've been dealing with this for about 8 years. I've gone to Brigham and women's and they have a doctor that specializes in HS I just started seeing them this month.

What does the doctor at Brigham say? Humira? Has anyone read the book by Tara Grant? "Hidden Plague"?
