I have lived with HS for 8 years. The first few years I tried everything, went to every doctor, tried so many different creams, prespcriptions, diets, cleanses until I gave up. I hated life and was so miserbale. I could go on and on with my story but we all know how it is to live with this disease. Well 3 1/2 years ago I was at the end of my rope and was approached about essential oils. At first I laughed, thinking seriously I have tried everything there is no way this will work! Well here I am all these years later ( I waited 3 years to post anything on this site or tell anyone with this disease because I was scared it wasn't the oils, but.....) and I have had 90% decrease in the disease. I still have the occasional breakout but honestly, NOTHING like it used to be.
I started noticing a difference within 3 months, a huge difference in 6 months and have had only 5 epsiodes since then. I couldnt' believe it but it works and I would love to pass on what I did to anyone who is interested.

I used the Lifelong vitality vitamins (LLV) with doTERRA, 100% pure natural product with everything we need. You can actually youtube videos on this and you will get a great explanation of how wonderful they are. They are $79 a month, but in my eyes that was a savings with what I was spending in appointments and co-pays for other prescriptions.
I did the vitamins for 3 months and used Frankincense oil around the affected area. Now I use so many more oils and still take the vitamins as does my entire family. I went from not being able to sleep, do my hair, get dressed alone, pick up my daughter, ruining my clothes with the discharge of yuck to living a normal life, minimal outbreaks and no more leakage on my clothes.

I also use melaleuca,lavender on the site directly. I have used others but those are safe starters. Also use Franincense daily which helps.
bags. I would love to try your method, anything to reduce the pain, inflammation and drainage. It is beginning to affect me emotionally and mentally along with physically. Ali2016- I use Lavender and Melaluca on the sores and around them. The Frankincense is too strong for me so I use that on my feet and spine daily. When I used it on the sores it burned a little to much.
