I have been on Humira for 8 months now. It seemed to help control any new bumps from forming until this week I got a huge one in the crease of my armpit. This is amazing, I've been on the Humira and just started Paleo 3 weeks ago and haven't went off of it once and now this. I see a new dermatologist on Tuesday so we will see. I also take Turmeric 6 times a day.

I am a severe case. I've done diet changes 90% of the other treatments, I'm too severe for surgery. I've been on humira for 7 months. I've had a change where I have not gone septic and needed hospitalization. I still am getting up to 3-4 new ones daily during a flare up. I have around 50 all the
time. I have flare ups quite frequently. I know my experience is negative and explaining my experience does not mean this medication will work this way for you. It's good to look at all angles.

I've had countless surgeries since 2010. 10 for this year 6 I&ds 3 skin grafts in all through 6 years. I'm just looking at my options. Just done having surgeries. I've lost 16 pounds. Still getting acne on my face as well. I get flares up but they don't get as bad. Until one keeps getting bigger and bigger. And I get strep. That's my fear of being septic. I've had mrsa during the summer. I've done antibiotics but my body is sensitive to new medications. I'm seeing a derm doctor on Monday. BTW crystal deodorant doesn't have aluminum in it. Better for our skin! Thank you!

I have been on Humira for about 6 months now and it is doing wonders for my chest area. My groin is still pretty bad but my dermatologist wants me to continue the humor for another 6 months to see if it starts to help control my groin area. I will have to be on Humira for the rest of my life. It was my last resort. I make sure to take vitamin supplements (since Humira basically shuts down your immune system) to help keep me from getting the cold or flu. I do not drink after anyone and I am constantly washing my hands to keep myself from getting others germs. I recommend Humira if it is your last resort.
