HS & Menstrual Cycle

Hello, I was wondering if any other ladies have noticed a connection between their cycle and their flare ups? Over the last few months I notice that my worse flare ups and my ovulation and bleeding have been happening around eachother and didn't know if I was just trying to reason with myself about why I've been feeling so shitty or if there could be an actual connection between the two and that I'm not the only one going through this.

For sure they are related. Hormones play a major part in the flare-ups. I go through extremely painful flare ups every month, but my sores never go away-EVER. Right after my period starts I would say is the best time of the month for me--but it only last about a week.
I wish I could remember where I read the info on this, but if you google HS and hormones, you should find some facts/answers.
