I have flareups on neck. Not the face though. I'm in desperate need of a haircut but am embarrassed to go to salon due to this! Lol my hair is out of control!

I have been a cosmetologist for ten years !! Funny you mention that I'd hook you up if you love in Indiana? Lol I became phobic of mirrors and constant questions about what happened to my neck.. I always say o should buy stock in Band-Aids lol

yes, in my hair, on my neck, on my chest, everywhere! The only skin I show are my forearms, and my face/neck because I don't have much of a choice there.

have had them along my jaw line and in my beard area. If i dont shave i wont get new ones or make the old ones really pissed off. I ahd a straight razor barber out in Fargo that knew the locations and how to work that blade so no new ones popped up and she didnt cut the old ones. If i need to get it trimmed down or shaved off i'll risk it but have not needed to for a while now. I was able to get on disability from all the surgeries and all the sores that remained.

I have one on my nose and it literally has affected certain spots on my nose throughout the years in the last 3 to 6 months that's what's so crazy about it and the one on my nose that I currently have is right on the bridge it was from an old one almost old scar literally in the middle of my nose so I wear a bandaid on that and then I have a horrible one right below my jaw/ neck it first it started out 3 inches from where it is now.. I wore a wound vac instead of surgery for 2 months big mistake they just scraped or debrit-ment in the office no anistesia ..then hooked a vacuum machine to my neck it was horrible all the tape and I kept saying if u don't remove these cysts like things they won't go away needless to say the skin was thinnly laying over the old ulcer however after two weeks of not having the wound back on the inside that they didn't take out with surgery V like things got bigger and more of them it was horrible it's my neck is so tight I can barely look up. I'll journal about this specific ly so send me a friend request if u want to Read some of my journals. I also find shaving less helps abbit however how am I supposed to be attractive with some hairy pits?? And a 1980s bush!!? Lol

I'm looking into laser hair removal now. I get ingrown hairs on my body and i don't shave. So the hair is going....even if that means wearing 12 yoga pants under my jeans.....the hair is going bye bye. I have had no issue so far. I'm paying out of pocket. all my doctors just look at me like i have no idea what i'm talking about.

Exactly I too have long ingrown hairs that basically I thought that laser removal was for me the dermatologist looked at me and said insurance will not pay for it and I was told to start I'd need 3000 bucks so I left upset needless to say I think it would help me alot but that kinda cash is not really justifiably available at the moment sadface

Look around. My dermatologist gave me a stupid high price too. I'm not sure if she meant that's what all the treatments will eventually cost in the end. i have found places in bismarck that charge by area, like half legs is 250 and full legs is 400. That's just an example. The one I'm going through now charges 200 an hour. I just do it when I have extra money. Mine we talked about Bartering since she is in charge and doesn't have a boss to report too. I Bartered a Family portrait that I'll draw and she can decide to pay cash or how much of a treatment i get for free. If you find one that is privitally owned show the lady a few pics of the makeovers you have done. Those can be expensive and there is always a wedding that is coming up or something special in everyone's lives.
