In February I had the flu. the month before that my employer moved me to another location as well as made a lot of other changes. Between the stress (which is always good for a flare) and a recovering immune system it is the perfect effing storm.
I have a cyst the size of a lemon on the back of my upper leg. It hurts like hell. I was in so much pain today at work. It hurts to walk or to sit. I think I am running a fever.
As soon as I got home , I fed the cat because all hell breaks loose if she isn't fed, and made a warm wet compress with sterile gauze and Epson salt water. I put one of those clay based heat packs on top. (Those are amazing, btw) It is not draining. It is just hurting. Just a speck of blood has come out.
I just had to email my boss to tell her I will not be in tomorrow due to a personal medical problem. I have to go see my doc or go to urgent care.

I doubt there is anything to be done anyway.
From my experience it's all of the advice I've gained on here that has really helped and made the difference... not the numerous doctors who tell you something or prescribe you medication even when they actually know very little about it. I'm under all of the specialists I need to be under 'just in case' but they have been no help whatsoever. (I'm in the UK, don't know if that makes a difference?)
I'm not suggesting you don't go or cancel appointments. .. I think you should continue to be in the system but get your real support here - everyone is so nice and actually do know their stuff x
I'm gonna try zinc supplements to see if they help.
