I will not go out in public that way, it's more of an uncomfortable thing for me than anything else.
I feel like it helps me in the sense of not having something rubbing directly on the surface of the irritation skin. The worst breakouts in that area for me are when I have my monthly, which is of course when everything gets all icky anyway.
