Apparently it works as a poultice and creates a (high or low, I can't remember) ph that bacteria can't grow in- plus it heals your skin.
So after the I'm an Idiot wound closed in 2 weeks (it should have been months) I thought, hey I'll try it on some HS--
So it worked amazing on longstanding open sores I have had on my breasts- I just slathered it on bandaids, left them on until showering, let them breathe which they actually don't recommend, for a few hours, and did it again. 2-3 days later- no more oozing, and from red to pink. I have tried EVERYTHING - this is the most promising.
However, the same medical honey DID NOT do anything for a still closed new sore.
