Hi gang,
Just a quick note to say Elisa is in Texas Childrens for an incision and drainage of large abscess of the buttocks area...We had a bad month this month and then she got real sick with huge absesses in the ( butt folds) ouch...... We will have surgery today.... Am so sick of this awful disease....
diet or not diet; we are still having trouble....this sucks!

Exactly. This disease can care less if you are eating right or not...I wish her the best of luck as I am having the same issue with my buttocks now...it is just plain horrible. I am contemplating on seeing a dietician next...they have put me on KEFLEX 3 times a day for now...this usually helps.

I feel so bad for all the people that suffer this horrible disease, specially for children. May God bless her and you and help her with the surgery. Keep having faith!!!

We came home today with 2 days of IV clindamycin and the poor kid has an abscess growing on the bottom underneath the I & D...and I think to myself WTH? so, life is fun with HS! am ready to jump!
