Since I also am learning about this HS I want to know if any of you get cysts under the skin in the groin area that are hard ...... They look like purple hard knots but are not boils really.... Kind of look like a hard knot of an abscess but are purple and seem to stay forever. I have my daughter on bactrim once a day and she got one right before her period. The other one has never gone away..... What do you put on them when you get them and also do you take a regimen of antibiotics and do they go away..... ? She is on bactrim 1 a day but this cyst erupted right before her period and then I put her on the bactrim.
It seems no matter what I do we are always faced with some kind of eruption on the body..... She is doing better on her paleo diet but never the less these eruptions or cysts just blow my mind! Her popcicle fest ( 2 of them) caused a small eruption but I think that is getting better. I just wish these hard
purplelike eruptions would just go away... I wish the medical community had answers for us besides surgeries and antibiotics..... I just wish my little girl was well and could be a normal 17 year old kid that does not always have skin issues and has to be so careful with her diet.... She is the sweetest thing that God ever created.... Elisa is taking 1 bactrim a day...I wish these meanie bo beanies would go away forever but they just hang in...and yes, they are super painful for sure .... accutane has so many side effects....all meds do but accutane I would not have my daughter take no matter what.... are you currently on any kind of diet regimen Marie? let me know how it goes.... am praying for ya ...tangerinebear xo
