Had surgery 3 weeks ago in my left pit due to HS and now curious to know what's the best scar cream and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!!
Here's one, though I've never tried it -- I can't due to location of my boils. It's not a cream, but some kind of stick-on bandage-y type of thing that keeps oxygen off the scar, which in time reduces the scar. It must be worn for various lengths of time depending on the severity of the scar. Saw an ad for it on TV, magazines, etc.. I believe it is sold OTC, but a better version may be gotten by Rx. Attaching these to "thick haired" places is dicey, because of course we're not to shave these areas, and who wants to pull them off of very hairy places when its time to?! But hey...not too many women have long hair under their breasts or bellies, so it's worth a try for there!
For the life of me I can't remember the name of it/them, but ANY Pharmacist (not Pharm. Asst) would certainly know.
