Hidradenitis Suppurativa Support Group
Hidradenitis suppurativa (hi-drad-uh-NIE-tis sup-yoo-ruh-TIE-vuh) is rare, long-term skin condition that features small, painful lumps under the skin. The disease manifests as clusters of chronic abscesses or boils, sometimes as large as baseballs, that are extremely painful to the touch and may persist for years with occasional to frequent periods of inflammation,...
Now have had a golfball size lump under my left arm, now followed by two more lumps, one size of large marble and other smaller. I don't know what is going to happen - will they get worse I just don't know. I feel I am at the mercy of my body.
Hope you find something to help you.

My HS under my arms were so bad that in the shower I would focus my eyes on something on the ceiling and raiser my arm as much as I could (just bended, over my head a little bit) and bit my lip and lather up until I was done washing that armpit.
This went of for a few weeks till I could feel scar tissue or something underneath the HS sores and I knew that if I didn't start stretching this out I might not ever be able to fully extend my arm.
So I simply started stretching. At first, I overdid it and started bleeding. I'd advise you to start stretching in the shower after or during a warm bath. Start really simple, just lift you arm as high as you can and hold that position. Every day extend you arm a bit more and you will be so shocked at how far you can reach in less than a month.
This is just what worked for me. I can now stretch my arm as high as I want and even though the sores are still healing and there are horrible scars I'm so grateful that my arm isn't frozen.

Don't overdue but definitely stretch at least 10x a day. Just hold your arm up while you're watching TV, in the shower. Also try standing right up against a wall, then stretch your arms up as far as you can and put your palms on the wall to make sure you maintain the stretch.
HS sucks :/
