Hey everyone!

In April 2016. I bought a bike and went rather nuts with it, riding for 30km daily (after I haven't touched a bike in 15 years). Then in Oct 2016 I found a huge bump between my legs. Thought I was dying. I wasn't but my doctor didn't know what it was, gave me antibiotics and nothing happened. Then I managed to "pull" the bump out by using apple vinegar and it drained, but left a gaping hole (3.5cm deep, 1.5cm wide). And it's been closing and leaking ever since.

In the mean time, one doctor finaly dropped HS as a possible diagnosis, gave me some silicone foam dressings and the wound finally closed a few days ago. When I say closed, it's no longer a hole, but it looks like it's still somewhat draining. Maybe it just needs more time to heal? 

Since I already have ulcerative colitis, I really hope this was a one-shot thing and that I just made my body angry by overdoing my bike. Reasons I believe it may not be HS is that I don't have any pain (I read through this whole board and it seems like it usually hurts?) except for when it was absolutely huge and the leak has absolutely no odor. I wouldn't put it on my sandwich, but it has no smell at all.

Any possibilities this was just a lonely cyst that decided to ruin half of an already awful year? What signs do I need to know if it's HS? Or there's no way until it breaks out again? Can I expect that the wound will close even if it is HS? Are there any mild cases that just come out once and leave you be? Anyways, as you can see, I'm still in the denial phase, so DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY. $%&/()=?
