I'm so sorry and completely empathize! My bathing routine consist of suddsing up my washcloth with dial and squeezing it over effected areas, that way there's no painful contact. In addition, try t-tree oil for the odor. Plenty of water with lemon from time to time, cut sugar intake and reduce carbs, tomato products and processed foods. You'll see a difference! I use Johnson and Johnson non stick pads after applying ointment. Medline makes a good tape for our condition. I get it on Amazon. Lastly, incorporate tumeric in your diet. ALL THE BEST!

Depending on the ur skin type under my arms I've been using hand santizer not alot but enough to coat it and helps with sweat and odour for me also it's antibacterial . I don't see why u cant use it on other areas the alcohol in it could try ur skin so that's why I recommend not putting a crap load hope this helps.

My bath routine is fill tub once try to drain as much pus as I can if no pudding sores I use washcloth 28th soap once. Drain the tub and repeat. I've done it a third time multiple times but then I get frustrated and basically scrub until I'm crying. I'm tired of people in public or even family I don't see very often that say I smell or randomly spray frebreeze or body spray on me. Its irritating and frustrating. I had one lady put deordant in my cart at check out once. I gave it back to her and used more vulgar words then I should have, but it was rude. I know I smell, there are times I get out of the tub and if sores are heavy draining 30 min later I can smell them again. I like using tea tree oil, it also works awesome on athletes foot. Its just not very pleasant if it gets into open wound. Same goes for hand sanitizer. A friend suggested it, maybe I used too much but my inter chest has had them. Now its like one big scar where random spots are still active. They rest of the chest looks like a topographical map Utah or Yellowstone. I'm going to try those diet suggestions. Any suggestions on getting rid of the chronic fatigue? I use soda to keep myself awake and if i don't have any I sleep at least 22 hours no problem.

Hibiclens antibacterial soap in addition to Dial antibacterial soap. You can buy it at Walgreens, Walmart and Amazon.

I use Cetaphil in the shower. It's a cleanser. You can also use it as plain ole lotion. Not only is it soothing, I feel like it can cut down on the odor. It's fragrance free, but because it's so gentle and derm recommended, I think it does help. I bought it at meijer for lik $13 but I know you can but it at places like Walgreens and rite aid too. As far as deodorant goes, I WISH I could use it. Unfortunately it makes things 100x worse for me. I've been using coconut oil mixed with a few drops of tea tree or peppermint oil. It's natural. Doesn't irritate my skin or cause new breakouts. And it smells heavenly. The only thing is that coconut oil is of course oily, so if you use too much it's messy. Don't need a whole lot. And I don't use it everyday. Don't wanna over do it. But when I work it's a life saver ( I work at a nursing home and am constantly sweating and on the move) hope this will give you some ideas. (:

I've suffered for more than 16 years. From my experience baby powder and Vaseline are BAD options and dial soap is useless (used that for the first 5 years to no avail).
You SHOULD try: washing with tea tree oil liquid soap (Bonner s maybe) and cuticura bar, cleaning area with a cotton pad and Apple cider vinegar, and arm n hammer essentials deodorant with no aluminum or parabens. They didn't completely disappear but did cut them down along with a little exercise.
