Hi guys I'm new at this. HS isn't my first autoimmune disorder, it's actually my 3rd. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis my senior year of high school and then arthritis my freshman year of college. I am now in my 4th year of college about to finish my nursing degree in December and now I have this to deal with and I'm tried, angry, upset and depressed. I have been dealing with this for over two years and I hurt everywhere. I also feel disgusting and unattractive. So this doesn't help my 22 year old, virgin ass self. I feel like no guy will every want to be with me when I have these giant red, pussing, painful spots under my arms and in my groin. This seems to be such a taboo subject and I don't know what to do.
Don't take on everything at once. Deal with one thing at a time if you can. Stress surely exasperates everything. I'll be hoping the best for you. Who knows, your career might lead you to discover a cure for us all! :)
As for feeling unattractive and disgusting:
When i started dating with H.S surprisingly the only negative unwanted feelings I encountered were the ones I put in my own head worrying about someone not being able to look past it.
