My accupunturist also told me to keep away from spicy food, fried food, pork, shellfish and dairy. Also no wine or beer...nothing fermented. So I am doing that too. She also told me that it was because I had too much heat in my body, something to do with the liver and gall bladder. I have always been warm blooded...when outside, everyone else is in jackets and I am not! I have to have a fan on at night, even in winter. Also my face is always flushed, which she noticed too. She was very thorough in her interview with me. That makes me feel good about her.
The tea herbs are very pricy ( like 105.00 for 7 days worth!). But, I have help from my mom and grandmother. It helps when you have family to support you. My husband is a wonderful support too!
