Ok here is my opinion, lol:
If you have an infection you can feel extremelty lethargic and wiped out all the time.
Mono can make you feel like this too.. and it is contagious so easily picked up from a ton of places.
Anemia can make you feel like you are not sleeping at all!
Depression can make you feel tired and listless.
Sleeping TOO MUCH can make you feel exhausted.
Being inside and unactive for long periods of time can make you feel this way.
The more active you are, the more energy and less tired you will feel.
My biggest 2 things here are the infection and the depression.. had them both! They both suck! Still, I would get in to see the doctor as soon as you can and find out what is going on so that you can start to feel good again.. when you feel tired all the time something is NOT right!
Hugs!
Like RebeccaV said, make sure to check with your doctor to make sure that that truly is the cause of tiredness. I know I did the anemia test, tried to stay as active as possible, had doc check for stuff like mono or other invaders..I finally gave up and chalked it up to all the above mentioned and the ugly combo they make.
It very well could be, but do check with a doctor to make sure it is nothing else. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Better to know if it is something else and be able to take care of it, or at least take it down a peg or two if getting rid of it isn't possible, than to sit and suffer.
I'm tired and achy all the time, and even though I try to get 8 hrs sleep (and let me tell you, it is hard for me to do so sometimes with a 9yr old boy with full on ADHD) I always wake up feeling like I haven't been to sleep at all. But at least I know I'm trying, and that all this is the HS (for me) doing its thing.
Being tired is a way of life anymore.
