Has anyone tried birth control and seen a significant reduction in HS cysts in their groin? I don't have any proof but I noticed when I was on birth control I had only one or two cysts within a few months and almost the same month I stopped taking it is when my HS really took over my life.
Out of curiosity I'm starting back up on the birth control and praying to every deity I can think of that it helps.

a couple months ago a doctor recommended birth control to me. He said it should have been the first thing we tried. Unfortunately i've been on it for about four months now and I haven't seen any improvement. Still currently taking it. Hopefully it works for you, though.
My big cyst is draining significantly less than normal and ice had a reduction in the quantity through out my groin area.
I could cry I'm so happy. I can't explain how terrified I was that this wouldn't work and it was all just coincidence. Here's hoping I continue to show such improvement
